Enea furniture, main attraction of the VIP area at ARCOmadrid
The international fair converted the VIP area into a permanent daylight forest on the celebration of its 40th anniversary
Spain’s international contemporary art fair, ARCOmadrid, has just celebrated its 40th edition and for the first time, in the summer, from 7th to 11th July, with new measures guaranteeing the safety of its visitors.
Another year on, forming part of the Leading Brands of Spain Forum (FMRE), Enea sponsored its VIP area and collaborated with prestigious architects and interior designers providing furniture from some of our collections for “Salida” (Exit), the winning project from Studio Animal, Estudio Gonzalo del Val and Toni Gelabert. As its name indicates, and after months of lockdown, the idea was to express a collective desire: the longing to enjoy the great outdoors.
With this in mind, a forest was created, comprised of 100 birch trees enjoying an ever-lasting evening under a giant sun. Among the trees we find our collection of Street chairs accompanied by our Lottus tables creating an ambience of both comfort and relaxation.
After the fair, the birch trees will be replanted at another site to help keep the carbon footprint of this event at a minimum.
