From a faucet factory to a software company

The new offices of Contentful are equiped with Enea seats and tables

toi toi toi creative studio designed the offices of Contentful in Berlin, one of the world’s fastest growing content management software companies. In this way, nowadays the former faucet factory reflects the culture of burgeoning technology movements and progressive business environments.

Specifically, the interior design study shifted the tone of individual and communal spaces to mirror the company’s agile development approach through a mélange of polished concrete flooring, plywood millwork and neutral tones. The workspaces are informal and open areas that have our Lottus AL tables and Puck poufs made with the Contentful corporate colors, as well as Coma Wood stools and Lottus Spin chairs. On the other hand, intimate meeting rooms are equiped with LTS System tables and more Puck seats.

The business of the company is all about flexibility, efficiency and removing clutter, and the project managed to convey these concepts through interior design. In fact, as the CFO of the company, Markus Harder, says, „Contentful’s cafe is the beating heart of the office. The space encourages casual collaboration without need for a formal meeting, which fits our culture perfectly.”
