Manel Molina: „The product of the future is today’s product“

The designer was interviewed by Archiproducts during the Salone Internazionale del Mobile

Throughout the last edition of the furniture fair Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan, the Italian portal specialized in architecture and design, Archiproducts, interviewed the designer Manel Molina. The objective of the interview was to learn a little more about the new designs he has designed for Enea, which were presented at the fair.

Related to that, the director of the Estudi Manel Molina explained that, in Enea, we are in a moment of expansion and consolidation of those product lines we have already shown before.

This consolidation has led to what we call ‚Enea Wood‚, a concept that our main collections are part of, such as Lottus Wood, Coma Wood or LTS System. The wood, together with the incorporation of the new palette of colors, allows the products to adapt better to any space.

According to Molina, a good example of this is the Kaiak collection, which combines oak and high-quality upholstery, giving rise to very diverse and interesting types os seatings that can be suitable not only for domestic spaces, but also for professional and public environments.

The designer finished the interview saying that „the product of the future is today’s product“, and he added that the needs of each moment are very concrete and that as we move forward, we must adapt to them.

During the furniture fair, in Enea we also present other novelties such as our first outdoor chair, Street, a new table for the contract sector, Pile, or the Ema 4L chair with arms.
