The simple geometry of Lottus in the Green Square of Sydney

Our chairs and stools can be found in the facilities

Green Square Library

218 Lottus High chairs and 36 Lottus stools. These are the seats of Enea that are placed in Green Square Library and Plaza, in Sydney, which opened its doors in September 2018 with great success. Designed by Studio Hollenstein with the collaboration of Stewart Architecture, it is located in the most densely populated urban area of Australia.

Despite being largely underground, the library can be seen from the square through two buildings: a glass prism that houses a café and an information desk, and a rectangular tower where compuret and reading rooms are located, as well as meeting and music spaces. Furthermore, the facilities have a lot of natural light thanks to an interior circular garden and 49 skylights.

The library required versatile, sturdy, stylish seating that complemented the architecture of the building, for which Stewart Hollentein selected the clean lines and simple geometry of Lottus. In this way, our chairs and stools are present in the library and in the meeting rooms, as well as in the cafeteria.

Green Square Library

Like many other contemporary libraries, the Green Square Library and Plaza is more than a place to house a collection of books. It is a space where students, workers, children, parents and grandparents can read, work, play and explore. And, on many other occasions, it is just the perfect place to be.
