Enea Colours

The new colours of Enea are inspired by Denise Boxler and our surroundings

As part of the changes we have made in finishes this year, in Enea we have removed some colours from our polypropylene and lacquered options with the aim of incorporating new ones in accordance with the market trends. The initiative started with Denise Boxler, German interior designer at the head of Studio Boxler, who made us a proposal of colors that convinced us from the beginning. Why? Because we realised how well that colors fit our philosophy.

In Enea, we are very linked to the Basque Country and its surroundings. In other words, our rugged, uncompromising landscapes inspire us to create bold, enduring furnishings. The countryside is characterized by mighty farmhouses, romantic villages, majestic mountains, vineyards, green forests and the stunning Atlantic coast, and the new colors are very related to all that.

Pantone 4975C is inspired by the wine. Harmonious but with a strong, energetic personality. Dark red standing for strength and vitality, activity and joy of life.

However, Pantone 7545C is like a rough ocean, because the Atlantic coast is known for the rough sea. The gray-bluish shade represents the characteristics of satisfaction, balance, reliability and confidence.

Representing the forests and the green areas we have Pantone 5753C. Green has a calming, regenerating and harmonizing effect. In the past, it was the most popular color for the living room and it brings out the contrast effect with the other colors.

The soft blue of Pantone 5435C is related to the sky of the famous Basque landmark. The character features of the light blue are kindness, friendship, longing and silence.

Those colours were based on Denise Boxler’s criteria, and, after that, we decided to complement the finishes with some more colorful colours like Pantone 1245C, Pantone 174C and Pantone 533. Everything thinking in increasing the possibilities of personalize our products.
