Furniture by Enea for a coworking space with sea views

This open space is located at Torre Colón in Barcelona, and includes different areas where design is a focal point

The Barcelona architecture studio Elastiko has been in charge of the design of the new shared workspace of the firm Cloudworks in the city. Some of our collections have been previously included in other coworking projects of the same company in Madrid and Barcelona, and it’s an honour for Enea that they’ve trusted our design furniture again on this occasion.

With an area of 456 m2 and 360° views over the Mediterranean, this coworking space is located on the 15th floor of the Torre Colón, the first skyscraper built in the city. The main objective of this project was to create a single open space, made up of different areas, which was flexible, innovative, and agile, far from the traditional office concept.

The central area includes several cabins where the staff can work individually. Wooden walls provide warmth to these spaces, which have been furnished with our Lottus Sledge chair, a light and comfortable piece which is ideal for either an informal call or a meeting with clients.

A continuous shelf has been designed along the facade of the building. This takes advantage of the spectacular views, and creates a space where the staff can put the finishing touches to a presentation, catch up with emails, or just have a coffee looking out at the sea whilst sat on our Lottus Sledge stool.

The counter in the kitchen-dining area has been equipped with another stool from our Lottus collection: the Lottus Spin stool. This piece is suitable for both catering and corporate environments. In its olive monochrome version, it provides brightness and style to this area. We are certain that it will be the protagonist of many after work get togethers where staff will talk about anything and everything, except work.

This coworking space is currently the Barcelona headquarters of the Danish architecture firm BIG Architects.
