Lottus wood in the remodeled VIPS Beatriz

Lottus wood chairs, designed by Lievore Altherr Molina, are integrated into the new VIPS Beatriz interiror, one of the most iconic of this group.

The Grupo VIPS restaurants are gradually being refurbished and one of the first to be remodeled has been Vips Beatriz, located in the center of Madrid and considered as the brand’s flagship restaurant.

The goal of the project was to achieve a different VIPS without losing the essence of the brand as well as to surprise the user. This is why ILMIODESIGN, in charge of the new design of Grupo VIPS’ restaurants, gave the space a retro look, while maintaining the personality of the brand.

With the combination of furniture, textures, colors, lighting and shapes, the VIPS Beatriz restaurant, a benchmark of the group, maintains its personality while offering a unique identity.

The equipment of contract spaces and, more specifically in hospitality areas, the seats are the elements that take more importance. Michele Corbani and Andrea Spada, members of Ilmiodesign, has a clear idea so they chose the Lottus Wood chairs to furnish the area with tables in the restaurant, as it is a seat that combines functionality with comfort and elegance

Lottus Wood, a collection designed by Lievore Altherr Molina following the organic lines and the inspiration of the Lottus chair, is composed of a chair, a stool, a Lottus Lounge chair and tables. It is a collection very well received by the professionals of the sector (architects, decorators, interior designers, etc.) for its friendly, warm and close character, in addition to its double facet of Nordic furniture and Mediterranean character. And also because it can be easily integrated into any public or residential installation.

The birch and oak plywood used for the legs of the Lottus Wood seats contributes to a sense of warmth and elegance. The polypropylene of its seat, which was partially upholstered following the red and beige color scheme of the restaurant, offers the modernity and personality required by the venue.
