San Pelaio an innovative pharmacy in Zarautz

San Pelaio, a pharmacy in Zarautz, has been designed combining functionality and innovation, and includes the Lottus Wood chairs among its furniture.

In the Gipuzkoan town of Zarautz, a new pharmacy has been recently inaugurated, designed combining functionality and a completely innovative aesthetic style for this kind of establishments.

A project carried out by the Basque design studio  Sube Interiorsmo. It was taken into account the basic premises marked by the owner: to design a functional place but seeking to distinguish itself from the rest of pharmaceutical establishments and offering a different experience to the client.

Sube Interiorismo designed custom furniture to measure taking into account the importance of equipping the pharmacy with ample spaces and creating a modern environment that responded to functionality, exhibition and sale, while taking care of the aesthetic part.

The result was to provide the San Pelaio pharmacy with a differentiating character through modern furniture, as well as with the use of the Lottus Wood design seats with wooden legs and white polypropylene casing.

The Lottus Wood chair collection, designed following the organic lines and the inspiration of the original Lottus collection, is its warmer version. Its base made of plywood oak or birch responds to the needs of combining functionality and comfort. The use of wood contributes to give a feeling of warmth to the San Pelaio pharmacy.

Pine wood, natural or lacquered in soft colors like white and blue tones, and the custom-made furniture, mark the differentiating character of this new pharmaceutical business. Materials, lighting and textures distinguish San Pelaio as a modern and charming place where buying medicines transcends another sphere.
