Lottus, among entrepreneurs and start-ups

The Lottus collection can be found in the remodeled Dog Track of Barcelona

The Barcelona’s Dog Track, designed in 1961 by Antoni Bonet, had been in disuse for decades until Dear Design turned it into a Creative Research Park last year, a new space for entrepreneurs and start-ups to generate new ideas.

In this way, the building contunues serving the city and its citizens, encouraging interaction among its users and promoting new ways of working through different spaces among which we can find a multipurpose room, designed for projects that have an academic component and for talks or open debates; a talent development space, an open and dynamic space that favors the exchange of knowledge; meeting rooms and a cafeteria.

For the remodeling, they have tried to respect the minimalist style of Bonet, as well as the original activity of the building, implementing panels that recall the greyhound races that were held there. Among the chosen furniture, Dear Design opted for Enea’s white Lottus Spin chairs for the meeting rooms and yellow ones for the cafeteria, a color that was already in the original building. In addition, he has opted for Lottus stools, Lottus Wood chairs and Punto tables for this space.
