Lottus at LCI Barcelona, Official School of Design
The Lottus Collection: freshness, elegance and style at the facilities of LCI Barcelona Official School of Design.
The LCI Barcelona Official School of Design is the European campus of the LCI Education network. Its headquarters were inaugurated in Barcelona in October 2013 as a union between LCI Education and the Escuela Superior of Fashion Design Felicidad Duce. An educational center that trains future professionals in different creative disciplines and focuses on fashion, product, interior and graphic design, positioning itself as one of the best at an international level.
The new headquarters of LCI Barcelona, by Circular Studio‘s architects Ivan Serrano and Fernando Ansorena, is a space of 2700 m2 divided into 2 floors. It stands out for its modern, colorful and carefree style. Raised under the premises of design and quality and, with a practical approach, the architects designed a site that should also consider its sustainability. In its 20 classrooms, in the library, study rooms, cafeteria, offices and meeting rooms, our Lottus collection, a design developed jointly with the Lievore Altherr Molina studio, becomes part of the day-to-day creative universe.
Lottus is an elegant seat, a contemporary and versatile design that, thanks to its combination of shapes, colors, materials and textures, makes it an ideal program to solve a wide range of situations. Inspired by the forms of nature, it is manufactured from reusable and recyclable materials, avoiding the use of those harmful to the environment.
The Lottus chair in black or white polypropylene and, in its versions with and without arms and different finishes, is formally integrated into the different spaces and in the idiosyncrasy required by an educational center such as the LCI Barcelona. It provides personality and contemporaneity to an environment that vibrates with its colors, shapes and materials, also offering design, image, firmness and, above all, comfort.
