Pere Anguera Library: functionality and contemporary architecture

Expert Line chose our products for the equipping of the facility

Biblioteca Pere Anguera

With more than 1500 square meters, the second library built in the town of Reus is named after the historian Pere Anguera and houses an important part of his own library.

The building was designed by Joan Tous architect, who succeeded in combining functionality without renouncing the main elements of contemporary architecture. In this way, the interior spaces have a great amplitude, luminosity and warmth, and it is possible to have an overview of the city from the large window of the first floor.

The library has lending rooms, multipurpose rooms, magazine rooms, meeting areas, offices and a children’s library among others. Expert Line carried out the equipment of the facility, for which they chose two of our Lottus products. First of all, white four-legged chairs with black polypropylene seat pads, a perfect option thanks to the fact that they can be stacked up to 12 units on a transport trolley designed specifically for this purpose, which make them suitable for multiple utilities. In addition, it is possible to find sledge white structure Lottus lounges with different upholsteries that bring a nice touch of color to the spaces.
