Ema chairs, game pieces on the board of Detsky Mir

Form was in charge of the project of the new headquarters of the Russian company

Detsky Mir is a Russian company that, since 1947, has been selling children’s items with more than 700 stores in Russia and Kazakhstan. This great expansion generated the need to amplify and modify its headquarters in Moscow, so they moved to an old factory and had relied on Form to upgrade and modernize it.

Form opted for an open design that facilitates the interaction between departments, by taking into account the main activity of the company: childhood. For this reason, the reception is decorated with the corporate colors (red, blue, green and yellow), and has glass cabinets with toys inside that welcome visitors.

In each of the four floors, it is possible to see work tables on the sides and central spaces used for circulation and for closed facilities, among which we can find meeting rooms that bear the names and characterization of popular games such as backgammon, noughts and crosses, pinball. For Form, our Ema chair was perfect to give a fun touch to these central rooms, thanks in part to our large number of available finishes, so they opted for this model with lacquered structure and upholstered in yellow, black, gray, blue and green, colors that suit perfectly the philosophy and the work environment of the company.

Undoubtedly, for the workers of Detsky Mir, working is part of a fun game on a board created by Form every morning.
