The wood of Lottus, in a wild environment

Chairs and stools of the collection have a high presence in the Salvaje restaurant in Seville

Salvaje

The Salvaje restaurant is located in an old industrial building in the city center of Seville, a fact that facilitated to Estudio Flop, in charge of the interior design, the organization of the space according to the desire of the owners: they needed a tapas bar and, at the same time, a place for presentations and celebrations.

With this aim, it was decided to create three different atmospheres: a bar, a restaurant with a big barbecue in the center and a reserved area for large meetings. These three areas were unified by wooden shelves full of plants that also help to reorganize the space for different activities, from a mass event to intimate dinners with few people.

As its name suggests, the restaurant aims to resemble a natural and wild area and Floop succeeded in achieving it thanks to the use of wood and the green tones of the different types of plants. Along the same lines, our Lottus chairs and stools with oak wood casing and white lacquered structure have been used for the bar and the restaurant areas.

The design is completed with several large-scale murals, which convey the relationship with urban art that the owners of the restaurant had already started in their previous project, Sal Gorda. The result is, undoubtedly, a perfect balance between design and functionality, so much so that the restaurant was one of the finalists in the Premios de Diseño de Andalucía (Andalusian Design Awards), an award given by the Asociación Andaluza de Diseñadores (Andalusian Designer Association).
