Australian architects visit ENEA

At the beginning of June, ENEA participated in a trade mission with architects from Australia. An action organized by ENEA together with our Australian distributor.

During one day, the group of architects had the opportunity to visit our factory, discover the manufacturing process of the proposals of furniture for residential and contract spaces, talk to Manel Molina -one of the designers that in recent years ENEA has closely worked with in the development and creation of new product lines-, and to live as well the experience of the Basque cuisine, visiting the Basque Culinary Center and a traditional Basque cider house.

In our facilities, the architects discovered ENEA’s corporate project, besides the latest of our seats, tables and furnishing accessories we design and manufacture for community facilities and residential environments. Furniture that they could see, also, during their visit to the Basque Culinary Centre, where there are our chairs Lottus and OH! designs by Lievore Altherr Molina and Gabriel Teixidó, respectively, and Eina, a design by Josep Lluscà.

All these architects knew ENEA beforehand, because our designs have achieved great international prestige, and our collections have equipped various facilities in the country. Among the most emblematic projects excel the Central Park Sydney Mall, Zumbo Patisserie or Royal Comission Sydney.

These projects in Australia were possible thanks to the colaboration of our distributor and because ENEA, following our environmental awareness, designs and produces seats for institutions according to the principles established by the green design, and therefore was honoured in 2013 with the ecodesign ISO 14006 and Australian GECA certificates for our Lottus program.

Our commitment to create pieces that merge design, innovation, sustainability and performance, in which designers of great prestige and experience have collaborated, has positioned us as one of the leading European furniture designers for residential and public facilities.
