The headquarters of the Maersk Line transportation company in Auckland (New Zealand), were renovated at the end of 2016 by Stack Interiors and include different Lottus collection seats, designed by Lievore Altherr Molina.

Lottus is a collection of contemporary furniture based on an elegant design inspired by the forms of nature. A fresh seat designed with comfort in mind, which has evolved with new proposals for working and domestic spaces.

After 10 years occupying the Britomart GPO building, Maersk Line’s headquarters in Auckland needed to move to a new location in the same city with the aim of creating a central office for Oceania. Stack Interiors created the current headquarters of the shipping company.

The new offices house more than a hundred workers in a flexible and contemporary environment that stimulates teamwork and collaborative work. Through the distribution and creation of wide and flexible areas for both teamwork and relaxation, opportunities for collaboration are generated. With the use of a soft and elegant color palette, adequate lighting and furniture, the interior designers have created an environment that reflects the trajectory of the company.

The functional and elegant designs of the Lottus collection were chosen to equip different spaces. The Lottus Lounge seats with white lacquered metal structure and upholstered seat are located in different areas aimed at small meetings or relaxing spaces. The Lottus conference chairs, upholstered in black, were intended to equip the large meeting room. And finally, the Lottus High Office chairs, also upholstered in a beige color, were placed in the informal meeting room.
