Sledge

The Ema Sledge chair has a robust and minimalist design and features a sledge steel frame either chromed or lacquered in any of our colours. It is available in a great number of finishes, including a polypropylene backrest with a polypropylene or upholstered seat, or with an upholstered seat pad; upholstered backrest and seat pad; or fully upholstered. This is a stackable chair (up to 45 units), which is incredibly useful for multifunctional spaces. The Ema chair is an ideal choice for high-traffic environments, but also to add a touch of design to any home.

Structure

Ø13x1.5 mm round cold rolled steel tube frame.
Open or closed backrest.
Optional aluminium arms.

Stackability

Stacked on floor and transport trolley: 20 units (polypropylene) / 15 units (upholstered).
Stacked on transport and storage trolley: 45 units (polypropylene) / 20 units (upholstered).

Sustainability

Ecodesigned (ISO 14006).
Selection of upholstery fabrics made of wool, recycled (and recyclable) fibres, or leather.
Highly recyclable PP with low additive content, according to EU recommendations for the improvement of plastic recyclability.
The number of components has been reduced, and their ease of separation has been enhanced, to make the end-of-life phase more manageable. All these components are 100% recyclable or reusable.
