Enea with Contemporary Art and Ecodesign

Our products were present at the ARCO fair and at the exhibition ‘20 años de ecodiseño made in Euskadi’

Arco

Last week, two important events took place: the international Contemporary Art fair of Madrid (ARCO) and the exhibition ‘20 años de ecodiseño made in Euskadi’ (20 years of ecodesign made in Euskadi), this one under the umbrella of Basque Ecodesign Meeting.

Arco is one of the main fairs that is held every year on an international level. On this occasion, Teresa Sapey, the architect and interior designer responsible for carrying out the design of the VIP room, equipped this space with furniture of different brands grouped in RED association among which is Enea. Specifically, the architect chose Lottus Wood chairs with high backrest and Lottus spin chairs in this meeting area for collectors, foundations and professionals from more than 50 countries.

Ecodesign

Last week, the Basque Ecodesign Meeting was also held at the Euskalduna palace in Bilbao, which hosted the exhibition ‘20 años de ecodiseño made in Euskadi’. The objective was a very specific one: to make known the work developed by Basque companies during these last twenty years through ecodesigned products that have a lower environmental impact throughout their circle of life. In this context, we were present with our Kaiak chair that has, among others, the following sustainable attributes:

  • 46% reduction in environmental impact by optimizing the amount of wood used in the manufacturing process.
  • 39% reduction of packaging cardboard.

At Enea, we are very aware of the importance of sustainability in our production processes, so we put great effort into reducing the use of materials, as well as reusing and recycling them.
